Pre-Championship Season Summary

Sea Dragons General Information

The Cornwall Sea Dragons is a competitive swim team for children in the Cornwall School District. The club utilizes a 6 lane, 25 yard pool at the new Cornwall Central High School. Membership is open to swimmers from elementary through high school who have a strong desire to swim competitively. 

The Sea Dragons are a not-for-profit club governed by rules and bylaws (check here for a copy of the clubs rules and by-laws).  The rules and by-laws are consistent wtih those established by the Empire State Swim League (ESSL). For those swimmers not yet ready for competitive swimming, please consider one of the following options:

Swim with the Cornwall high School "Learn to Swim" program.

OR swim with the

Hudson Valley Bluefish

The Bluefish are a small, “Family” Swim Program run by Volunteer Parents.   They have been in operation for the past 8 years, teaching children proper stroke technique and building endurance through lap swimming.  If your swimmer is not yet ready to swim competitively with the Sea Dragons against other ESSL League teams, then the Bluefish may be a good alternative.  The program runs September through December.  Please check here do download a pdf version of the Bluefish registration form.

The 2009 Awards Banquet:
WEST POINT CLUB, Saturday, April 4th, 1-5 PM.
The Banquet meeting represents the Formal meeting of the Club Membership for 2009

Practice Schedule:

Practice Schedule is M-Tu-W-F 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Tuesday is a recommended "day off'" for our youngest swimmers.
*Cancellations: if school is cancelled due to inclement weather, practice will also be cancelled.
