Elections of new members to the Sea Dragons Board of Directors is scheduled for December 18th, 2009.  The Positions of Vice President and Coach Liaison will be elected.  PLEASE consider yourself for nomination, and please vote!  The Club needs your participation!.  For more information about the responsibilities associated with each Board position, please download the Bylaws from the welcome page.

Volunteer Effort Drive......

As of our last Board meeting, only 14 families had signed up for their required volunteer effort.  Please look for the signup sheets at the pool, see Mr. Logerfo or a board member to sign up.  Our first HOME meet is right around the corner, and we will need volunteers.   Also we are still in DESPERATE need of someone to manage concessions!

Coaches Message.......

Our coaches have experienced ongoing difficulties from swimmers arriving late and disrupting instruction.  They ask that you please adhere to these rules...;  

1. 1)bring your children to practice on time.  Late arrivals disrupt the program and negatively affect other children.  Consistently late arrivals may not swim.
   

2. 2)encourage your children to follow the coach’s instructions. Children who refuse to follow instructions may be ‘benched’ for the day, and continued disruptions from a child may result in exclusion from a meet.
   

3. 3)communicate with the coach liaison, or the head coach after practice.  Parents are not allowed on the deck, nor should they ‘instruct’ their children from the spectator area.
